- Local author, long distance hiker, and former ridgerunner for Shenandoah National Park, Lauralee Bliss will share inspiring stories and pictures from her 4,000 mile journey along the Appalachian Trail, hiking north with her son and then south as a solo hiker. Her powerful memoir, Mountains, Madness, and Miracles: 4000 Miles Along the Appalachian Trail will be available for purchase and signing.
