In this episode, we hear a recording of a panel on virtual learning and homeschooling. We also talk about our reading.
Abby and Abby talked about reading
- Making Our Way Home: The Great Migration and the Black American Dream by Blair Imani
- The Tattooist of Auschwitz by Heather Morris which had elements that reminded Abby of the film Life Is Beautiful. She also mentioned Heather Morris’s follow up, Cilka’s Journey.
Next, we hear a recording of a virtual panel that took place in October featuring a discussion with homeschooling and virtual learning tips. Panelists include Sheila Chrobak, Maggie Williams, and Jennifer Ferguson, who are experienced in homeschooling and virtual education and whose professional backgrounds lend valuable expertise to the discussion. Our colleague Wyn also joins the panel to discuss their own experience as a homeschooled learner.
